BIO:
I live in the passage east area of Co.Waterford. I took up cycling a couple of years ago for something to do. I joined Comeragh CC 2 years ago but only started racing last year, before that I was what is known as a leisure cyclist, those were dark days but I have risen from the ashes and now have a speedy bike to race around on. Last year I picked up a win along with a handful of 2nd and 3rd places along with a number of top 8’s. I also represented the Munster Cycling Federation in a couple of races in the UK last year. This year I was 3rd in the annual Carrick Wheelers Paddy’s day race but so far my best experience was racing in the British Junior Tour series with Munster, I may have finished 33rd but that was certainly one of the toughest races I have done and I am really glad I got to experience that standard of racing. I honestly can’t wait for the Junior Tour, it cannot come fast enough. I’m not feeling too nervous just yet but the nerves are bound to come soon. I am just hoping to give my all everyday and see where that gets me, I have a few goals for myself and who knows what might happen when we get there. We have a super team of lads and we will be pulling for each other throughout the week. Watch this space!
