From Jair:
It was my father that inspired me to start cycling at the age of 12, because he was really into the sport. So from a young age I always watched the Tour de France and I got motivated to start cycling. I first started mountain biking and did I few mountain bike races, but then I went over to road biking and from then on I always kept on doing it. It is an honour to be here in Ireland to compete in the 2017 Junior Tour of Ireland. As I have Irish ancestors, I feel very much at home here in Ireland and I look forward to give my utmost for the Comeragh Cycling Club Club and I am also looking forward to a great week of competition.
