As most of you know club member Damien Vereker has been selected onto the Paralympic Ireland Athlete Panel for Rio. Damien has put everything into his cycling over the last number of years and he now needs our help to get him over the line and on that plane to Rio. All the events Damien has done over the past few years and some very important races coming up in the next few months are all self funded. On this good Friday 25th of March there will be a fundraiser for Damien in Kilcohan greyhound track. There will be some great spot prizes on the night and some novelty races between Kilkenny and Waterford hurling stars and for those of you who cant live without a drink for one night of the year the bar and restaurant will be open on the night.
