Our inaugural Youth Training league in Tramore has come to a close Wednesday evening after 4 successful weeks around our new 1,1km lap in the Tramore Industrial park. We had great racing from all the young cyclists in attendance and over the four short weeks they all showed great progression and promise. We’d like to thank them all for their attendance or indeed their parents and relatives for bringing them along to race. A huge thanks to Councillor Lola O’Sullivan of Waterford City & County Council for her help in securing the necessary permissions to run the league. Thanks also to our Tramore based Junior riders, Miceál & Steven and under 23 riders Aaron, Rhys & Jason who came along and rode around with the young riders and gave great advice and encouragement to them along the way. Brooklyn Restaurant in Tramore very kindly sponsored pizza vouchers for all competitors last night also, they went down a treat, big thanks for those too. The future of Comeragh CC and indeed youth cycling in the other clubs represented looks very bright.
