Please note, Change of date;
Saturday May 19th is the date that Comeragh CC’s Youth Academy spins will re-commence for 2018 for riders aged 10 to 16.
Our adult supervised spins will comprise of two separate groups, one for the established, quicker and more experienced riders and one for the newer, less experienced children. As well as adult riders accompanying the two groups, a club representative will also accompany the second group in a car, driving behind that group. The spins will be of the order of an hour, to an hour and a half in duration.
Graduates of our youth academy have in recent years gone on to bigger and better things, representing their club and province in such prestigious events as Ireland’s Junior Tour and have earned for themselves a string of fantastic results up and down the country, as well as being selected for events in the UK and on the continent.
Riders must have a racing-style bike, i.e, no BMX’s or mountain bikes. Hard-shell helmets are compulsory at all times. A drinks-bottle is also a necessity. Please also bring a saddle-bag with a spare tube in the event of a puncture
